Foam pit or airbag?
Both give a soft landing, but they are managed differently.
In short: A foam pit offers the classic experience, but cleanliness needs watching and blocks need replacing. An airbag is easier to clean and needs a blower. Check what the standard and your insurer require.
How do they differ?
| Foam pit | Airbag | |
|---|---|---|
| Cleaning | Blocks must be taken out and checked | Surface is easier to clean |
| Maintenance | Replacing blocks | Checking the blower and seams |
| Energy | No consumption | Blower |
| Feel | You sink into the foam | Cushioned bounce |
